It is Lucia's Birthday today June 5th.

Now I know that we all want to pick up the phone and call, but who has time for that. Besides she is getting old and can't hear to well anyway. Please feel free to respond to this blog and leave her your birthday greeting.

Hi everyone, We have had contact from another DiGrande. Patricia DiGrande DeRosa found her way to our site and has sent along some information.. Here are excerpts from the emails that she sent. My name is Patricia DiGrande DeRosa. My Papa was from Augusta Sicily- (he has passed 2/1985- ) I was so excited when I found your webpage (by accident-but really there are no accidents in life right?) anyway-hopefully you will answer me and we can discuss family history, etc...maybe we are related?? I have 4 older sisters and I older brother-they were all born in Sicily and I was born here in New York- when My mother came over 53 years ago on the ship -she thought she was sea sick but....surprise it was me She is vacationing with her husband but may join our site when she gets back. If anyone has any information that they would like to share, you can post it here or in the Discussion section.
